Luca Mirelli | Milan 1973 - I have been involved in Street Photography since 2001; telling society in everyday life is what I ask of my photography; I love to portray my subjects mainly in the most peripheral areas of the city, in popular and populous neighborhoods, multiethnic and full of life where all the "diversities" coexist in the same space.
For almost a decade I have been shooting exclusively with the Smartphone camera, remaining faithful to the square format 6X6 of the old Bioptic Camera.
In year 2023, driven by the passion for Street Photography in collaboration with Matteo Pioltelli, a great photographer and my best friend, we created a this new reality in the digital photographic world, the first true and unique online photography community reserved solely for amateur photographers passionate about black and white street photography.
